An experienced leader with a demonstrated history of working in the influencer industry, The Shine Side’s founder Sasha Nicole is skilled in brand partnerships, talent relations, social strategy and production. Sasha's decade long career includes experiences working at brands and agencies like Hearst Media, AwesomenessTV, Fox Entertainment, Rakuten, Zappos and Apple. As a Director of Branded Content, Media, and Influencer Partnerships at Studio71, Sasha sold and executed over 750 influencer campaigns on social media platforms reaching over 8.5 million dollars in revenue.

Sasha’s work with the disability community began early in life, she spent most of her adolescence volunteering in special education classrooms. She holds an MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School as well as a degree in Disability Studies from UCLA. While at UCLA Sasha interned in Autism Intervention, spending 300 hours on occupational, social, and behavioral skill building with toddlers. She also conducted research in Special Education teaching methods, and published a forty-page study detailing paternalism in our education system. Sasha’s passion stems from her own experience living with ADHD. She is a proud member of the disability community and continues to promote accessibility and equality.

The Shine Side was founded with a mission to advocate for talent with disabilities while providing the opportunity to work with brands. Additionally, the company is aimed at making a difference through educating brand partners on the importance of inclusivity and accessibility in social media.
